Every summer, our residents pack their bags for one of the most anticipated events of the year, Happy Campers Week. This isn’t just a trip; it’s a chance for relaxation, adventure, and creating unforgettable moments in the great outdoors.
This year’s camp week was packed with fun and variety. Residents took part in activities like a peaceful Tai Chi class, fishing by the lake, swimming, scavenger hunts, and more! Each day offered something new, and the smiles said it all—camp truly brought out the joy in everyone.
None of this would be possible without our dedicated staff, over 50 generous volunteers, and the incredible support of our community. We are deeply grateful to our donors whose contributions make this trip a reality each year, and to our parish and partners who provided delicious meals: St. Joseph in Strongsville, St. Albert, St. Ambrose, St. John Neumann, Angels on the Avenue, Catholic Charities, Brad & Beth Fischer, Elaine & John Sever, and our Board of Directors.
Happy Campers Week is more than a trip—it’s a celebration of life, community, and possibility. Thank you to everyone who participated and to Camp Cheerful for letting us rent the space each year. We’re proud to continue leading the way in providing this one-of-a-kind experience for our residents. We can’t wait to make more memories next summer!
