Congratulations to our volunteer Dennis DiNardo, who was nominated for the 2018 “Volunteers are the Foundation of Hospice” award. Dennis is the leader of a monthly Men’s Support Group that is offered at Holy Family. Prior to the group meeting each month, he calls every person who has attended in the past or has shown interest to invite them to the upcoming meeting. Since Dennis has taken over as the facilitator of the group, it has grown from 5-6 members to close to 20 members each month. “It is very personally satisfying to be able to help others who are upset, confused and mourning the loss of a loved one as I was a few years ago,” he says. Congratulations, Dennis, on making a difference at Holy Family Hospice! ... See MoreSee Less
