2023 Volunteer Appreciation Awards
St. Augustine Health Ministries recognizes over 100 volunteers for their commitment and service.

Cleveland OH: On Saturday April 20, 2024, St. Augustine Health Campus (SAHC) held its annual volunteer recognition ceremony. This year we recognized over 100 volunteers that have supported and provided service to the organization. The awards presented included Years of Service, Hours of service, and Volunteer of the Year.
The Volunteer of the Year Award has been presented annually since the volunteer program began in 1970. This award is given to those who demonstrate devotion, compassion, and concern for others. The recipient, Jerome Hansinger (Cleveland), has volunteered with St. Augustine for nearly 6 years with a record of 1,486 hours of service. A familiar face in the chapel, Jerome plays a pivotal role in the spiritual well-being of our residents. He assists in transporting residents to mass, leading prayers, and providing support in the sacristy.
In addition to his help in the chapel, Jerome spends quality one on one time with several residents. He has a special way of connecting with these residents, making them feel appreciated and understood in every interaction. Jerome’s selfless service to our residents makes him a great addition to our organization.
Several volunteers celebrated service milestones including Robert Clark, Sr. (30 years), Marilyn Kuczynski (25 years), Pat Piatak (20 years), and Kathy Curtis (20 years).
Volunteers awarded for significant hours of service included Robert Clark Sr., Aldo Camerin, Marilyn Kuczynski, Lindsey Tehorik, Mary Ann Basista, Joseph Stavole, Mary Clark, and Crystal Medley.

Thank you to BigHearted Blooms for their support in the event.
