Who We Serve - St Augustine Health Ministries

Who We Serve

Built On a Mission of Service

Driven by purpose, in 1969, we embraced a mission of skilled nursing and compassionate elderly care. Since then, St. Augustine Health Ministries has blossomed into a sprawling campus of residential settings. We serve over 1000 individuals each day. With over 500 professionals and an extended family of assisted care residences, we are the anchor of the Detroit Shoreway community.

St. Augustine serves individuals based on their needs, not their religious affiliation or financial status. We serve people. We provide health care and outreach ministries to lift the most vulnerable among us. We are a nonprofit, Catholic ministry, fortified with high quality and compassionate care. We deliver professional health services with love, compassion, and respect for human dignity—regardless of race, creed, or religious affiliation.
