Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Supervisor 7am-7:30pm Every Other Weekend to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the highest standards of care for our long-term care facility. This role requires a commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This position is 24 hours per pay only, work every other weekend, and one winter holiday & one spring holiday.
Duties
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with airway management and ventilate patients when necessary.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
Support patients in daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Qualifications
3 years of long-term care supervisory experience
Valid RN license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
