Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN CNA for Holy Family Hospice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients at our Holy Family Hospice facility. As a Nursing Assistant, you will assist with supporting medical staff and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Maintain accurate medical documentation to track patient progress and care plans.
Assist in the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed for patient comfort.
Support patients with infectious disease care by following established protocols and safety measures.
Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient service and support during critical care situations.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Participate in hospice care activities to ensure dignity and comfort for terminally ill patients.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene standards.
Experience
Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with long-term care practices and patient service excellence is advantageous.
Knowledge of infectious disease protocols and critical care procedures is beneficial.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy will enhance communication within the team.
