Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, with a flexible working schedule. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients of all ages. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
– Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
– Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities
– Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
– Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate goals
– Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
– Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
– Familiarity with occupational health practices and acute care settings
-Wheel chair protocol regarding needs of patient
