Marty is one of the many residents benefitting from the coordinated, all-encompassing approach to health and wellness offered through the PACE program. Before coming to St. Augustine Towers, Marty lacked the social interaction and structured support he needed to thrive. Today, he has a dedicated and responsive group of health professionals working closely with him.
As a PACE partner provider, St. Augustine Towers residents benefit from the support of skilled health professionals and additional services coordinated through McGregor PACE. This team-based approach ensures that residents’ health needs are met with consistency and compassion.
Through this partnership, St. Augustine Towers offers residents like Marty a truly integrated care experience that allows them to thrive in a supportive and caring environment. “This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, helping them live with dignity, independence, and the assurance that they have a dedicated team by their side,” says Brigid Nolan. “We see that residents enrolled in the PACE program remain independent and are able to reside in their Towers apartments longer.”
Since moving to St. Augustine Towers, Marty’s life has transformed. He enjoys regular, nutritious meals shared with friends, and he has become more active than ever, participating in various social activities. Marty attends daily Mass and enjoys walks to the local coffee shop, where he meets and chats with new friends.
“I’m surrounded by good people,” Marty says, reflecting on his newfound sense of belonging. He often leaves his door open to greet neighbors and friends who have become like family. For Marty, life at St. Augustine Towers is a stark contrast to the isolation he once experienced-now, he feels “loved, wanted, and needed.”
