Here at St. Augustine, we do our best to celebrate the sacredness of life on a daily basis. One of our nurses, Angela (2nd picture, far left), took it upon herself to go above and beyond that once she learned of a resident’s birthday. After hearing about his two favorite foods, lasagna and chocolate cake, Angela spent her night off work buying supplies and preparing two of our birthday boy’s favorites.
Staff and residents gathered, sang a very happy birthday, and joined together for a delicious lunch of lasagna and chocolate cake for the special celebration surprise. Thank you, Angela, for making everyone’s smile a little brighter and leading with love!
