On Friday, February 9th, 2024, the 22nd annual Merry Ploughboys Benefit Concert for St. Augustine Health Campus took place, and we are happy to announce its success! The proceeds from this event go to directly benefit our residents at the St. Augustine Health Campus. We feel truly blessed to be a part of such a compassionate community and we thank you for all that you do.
This event would not have been possible without the generous support of donors, sponsors, volunteers, staff, committee members, participants and more.
St. Augustine Health Campus was delighted to honor Joe Dailey at the event for his commitment to community service and fundraising. Because of Joe’s dedication, he was asked to join the St. Augustine Board of Directors in 2007. Their group, known today as “Angels on the Avenue” raises funds for various charities, including St. Augustine Health Ministries. Since 2006, Joe Dailey’s tireless efforts, along with the “Angels” have raised over $380,000 from monthly fundraisers, special events and corporate matching gifts. In addition, they have raised funds to directly support Resident programs and purchased items that directly enhance the quality of life for Residents and Staff. Joe’s contributions have made a significant impact on the lives of many at St. Augustine. Joe’s dedication to serving those in need is an inspiration, and his legacy will continue to benefit the Residents of St. Augustine and those in the greater community for years to come.
We would like to thank the local bakeries who so generously donated their delicious desserts – Archie Hough’s Bakeries, Reilly’s Irish Bakery, Becker’s, Tommy’s Pastries, and KB Confections. We would also like to thank The Travel Connection for their help with our grand prize – the round-trip for two to Dublin, Ireland and all of our generous donors who made our Luck O’ The Irish Raffle so successful!
