The evening also recognized a meaningful milestone — the 70th Anniversary of Holy Family Hospice. Established in 1956 by the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, whose mission was inspired by Rose Hawthorne’s compassionate care for those with incurable cancer, Holy Family Home has provided dignified end-of-life care for seven decades. Today, it remains a trusted source of comfort and support for families across our community.
Raffle participation extended beyond event attendees, with more than 200 individuals purchasing raffle tickets in support of the cause. Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and thank you to everyone who participated. The evening was made possible through the generous support of over 20 sponsors, whose contributions helped turn the event into a meaningful fundraising success for the ministry. Congratulations to our raffle winners: Nicolas Piszkov (Flanagan’s Wake), Katie Murray (CLE Guardian Club Seats), Mary Marmatakis (Loge seats to Water for Elephant), Nancy Campbell (Dine Around Town), Helen Gaidelis (Grand Prize Trip), and Janet Gosche (Guardian’s Terrace Box Seats)!
St. Augustine Health Ministries extends sincere gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and partners who helped make the evening a success. Events like the Merry Ploughboys Benefit Concert continue to play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission and ensuring continued support for those in need.
