Nursing Assistant Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in our trach & vent unit. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting nursing staff with their duties.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide catheter care and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed.
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
Assist in medical procedures under the supervision of licensed personnel.
Engage in patient education by providing information on health management and wellness.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals in our trach & vent unit.
Skills
Experience in trach & vent nursing facilities.
Experience in caregiving within long-term care facilities, nursing homes.
Familiarity with inpatient care processes and acute care environments.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
Attention to detail in monitoring patient conditions and maintaining accurate records.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 – $24.21 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
