Gifts of Cash
gifts of cash can be made by check, money order or credit card. You can give a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift on our secure website or by mail using this downloadable form. All gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. You will receive a receipt from the Ministry you supported
Donors to our Annual Fund are able to target their gift to the area of greatest need (unrestricted) or to one of our program areas or special funds. Although unrestricted dollars allow us the greatest flexibility, we recognize that some donors prefer to focus their gift on areas which are nearest to their hearts. Help us care for those who cannot care for themselves.
Celebration and Memorial Gifts
A thoughtful way to celebrate a loved one’s accomplishments, honor his or her memory or celebrate a special occasion, such as a wedding, anniversary or birthday, is to make a donation to to one of our program areas. Families will often suggest a donation in lieu of flowers as a way to honor those who have helped care for their loved one. Once your gift is received, we will notify the honoree or family acknowledging your gift (gift amount is not disclosed to recipient).
Contribution of supplies, equipment and services help us dramatically reduce our expenses and are used in support of patient/resident care, for fund-raisers, and for special projects and programs. Contact the Advancement Office at 216-939-7602. In-kind donations can also be purchased and mailed through Amazon.com.
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double the amount of your gift! Before you make a donation, please check with your employer to see if they offer a Matching Gift Program and submit their form to us.
Workplace giving is an easy way to support the Foundation. Once you sign up for your employer’s workplace giving program, a set amount (you decide) is deducted from each paycheck. Those funds are then sent to St. Augustine Health Ministries, usually quarterly. Some companies have their own workplace giving program, while others participate in the following programs:
Combined Federal Campaign: Federal employees and military personnel can support the Holy Family through the annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
United Way: If your company participates in a United Way campaign, you can write in “St. Augustine Health Campus” or “Holy Family Home”. We are an approved non-partner agency but do not have a United Way Identification number.
