When making a donation to St. Augustine Health Ministries, you may choose to designate to one of the program areas or funds listed below. Be assured that 100% of your donation will go toward your designation. All general donations will support the area of greatest need.
Chapel Fund: provides for the needs of our Chapels in addition to supporting the work of our Pastoral Team
Coterie Resident Enrichment Endowment Fund: Established by the women of the Coterie of St. Augustine, this fund carries on their legacy of enhancing the spiritual and social lives of residents by supporting ongoing recreation and therapeutic programs.
Holy Family Hospice Program Fund: helps offset expenses associated with room and board at Holy Family, ensures that all patients and families are able to receive hospice service; and provides grief and spiritual support to all individuals, free of charge.
Life Enriching Gardens Fund: Maintains the beautiful gardens throughout our Health Ministries.
Margaret and John Brada Staff Appreciation Fund: monetary and in-kind donations such as gift certificates and event tickets are used to show our appreciation and support for those who make a difference ~ our Staff. This fund was established by Margaret Brada, a resident of St. Augustine, in appreciation for the care and assistance she received. In-kind donations are given out to staff while monetary donations are used for special “all staff” gifts or celebrations.
Towers Assisted Living Enrichment Fund: Supports the ongoing program needs of the assisted living and assists residents who have exhausted their resources.
Stella Maris Endowment Fund: Established by a planned gift from an anonymous donor, this fund provides for the special needs of the Caritas Program for those living with HIV/AIDS.
Castele Fund for Resident Outings: Gives residents who otherwise couldn’t afford it, the ability to attend special outings, camp, athletic events, concerts, dinners, shopping and more.
Wish List Fund: provides for special needs of residents with limited resources or no family support, including visits to the beauty shop/salon, clothes or special supplies.
Life Care Fund: Covers the gap between the reimbursement provided and the actual cost of the care; and helps cover the $2.6 million in benevolent care provided. Supports our Mission of providing care and services to all, regardless of their ability to pay.
Home Delivered Meals Program Fund: provides meals to home bound seniors and emergency shelf stable meals throughout the year.
Our faith, Our family, Our future Renovation & Modernization Fund: This fund provides capital renovation support with recognition opportunities for renovation & modernization projects at Holy Family and St. Augustine Health Campus.
