Patient Accounts Representative / Collections - St. Augustine Health Ministries

Job Description

Full-time, 40 hours per week. The desired candidate must have at least two years of experience in long-term care preferably within the business office.  All billing is done in house, therefore, the successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of the different payers (Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care including MyCare Ohio). This position reviews, enters and manages census, payer tree set-ups, and profile changes within PCC and other entries into the system. Requires billing, collection and follow up of private pay and patient liability. Will have daily interaction with AR staff, other departments, residents and their representatives. The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, well organized and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

Must have at least two years of experience in long-term care preferably within the business office.

Knowledge and understanding of the different payers (Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care including MyCare Ohio).

Working knowledge of Point Click Care is desired.

Claims billing experience is a plus, but not required.

Will be detail oriented, well organized and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
