Job Description

Full-time Assistant Director for St. Augustine Towers.  Opening is available due to retirement. The Assistant Director interacts on a continuous basis with residents and family members and must have strong written and verbal skills.  Compassion and desire to work with the elderly and provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction is essential.  Will be responsible for the coordination of lease agreements and maintaining resident files.  Financial competency, oversight and accuracy is necessary.  Will work closely with the Director on a daily basis, managing the care of residents and overseeing employees.  Must be exceptionally organized and be able to re-prioritize daily tasks to accommodate the needs of the residents and the community. 

Qualifications

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook with the ability to create reports and analyze operational issues is desired.   Must be familiar with the Medicaid waiver, aide and attendance program through the VA.  Must have at least two years’ experience in a supervisory position in assisted living.  Associates degree in healthcare administration or a related field, preferred.  Will consider a work history showing extensive knowledge and experience in assisted living as education equivalents.
