Activities Assistant - part-time - St. Augustine Health Ministries

Job Description

(Position becomes available at the end of April 2019) The Activities Assistant is directly responsible for preparing and providing daily recreation, and mentally and physically stimulating programs under the direct supervision of the Activities Coordinator.  This is a flexible, 24 hours per week position.  We are seeking someone who exudes energy, creativity, is a self-starter, and has a strong desire to develop relationships with our residents.  Must be willing to “jump,” as the job is physically demanding.  We expect a positive team-work attitude and a sincere interest in the well-being of our residents.


A background in creative activities for older adults and/or children is preferred.  Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision.  RAC certification helpful.

High school diploma/GED required.  Must have a current, valid OH driver’s license with a limit of 4 points.
