St. Elizabeth of Hungary Celebration - St. Augustine Health Ministries

On Friday, November 14, employees of Catholic Charities and St. Augustine Health Ministries gathered with Bishop Lennon at Sagrada Familia Church for the 15th Annual St. Elizabeth of Hungary Mass & Awards.  Adopted as the Patroness Saint of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland in 2000, St. Elizabeth of Hungary gave up a life of riches and comfort to serve the poor, sick, and suffering.

Every year we gather on the Friday of November near her feast day (November 17) to thank God for His many blessings.  We honor employees who have been nominated throughout the year by their peers for the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Award.

This year, 29 employees were recognized for their unfailing dedication to our mission and values – not only at work, but in their families and communities, as well. Among those 29 employees, 5 were from St. Augustine Health Campus: Michelle Bedevelsky, Faye Mona, Colleen Patton, Tim Tobias, and Shelly Yoders. Michelle Bedevelsky, Director of Life Enrichment at St Augustine and Shelly Yoders, STNA at St. Augustine Manor, were recipients of the 2014 Mission & Values Award.

Those who gathered for the awards ceremony were treated to the beautiful sounds of the St. Augustine Bell Choir.
