St. Augustine Health Ministries congratulates the staff at Emerald Village for receiving an exceptional survey result from the Ohio Department of Health.
N. Olmsted, OH – Congratulations to our staff at Emerald Village Senior Living on receiving zero-deficiencies for care and services during their unannounced annual survey by the Ohio Department of Health. This top-notch rating is truly the result of our hardworking, dedicated and compassionate staff, who consider each and every one of our residents a part of their extended family.
The unannounced inspection is conducted every year in accordance with strict guidelines administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Surveyors examined all aspects of resident care at Emerald Village such as quality of care, documentation, quality of life, dietary services, fire safety and cleanliness of the community. The deficiency-free result found that Emerald Village Senior Living met or exceeded all state and federal standards for assisted living facilities.
“Receiving a deficiency-free survey requires strong leadership, good communication with our residents and dedication from the staff,” says Anita Gerrasch, Senior Administrator for Senior Living at St. Augustine Health Ministries.
The outcome is not surprising to the residents of Emerald Village who when asked in the Resident Satisfaction Survey, 96.5% of residents said they would recommend Emerald Village to others. “We pride ourselves in the care we offer residents at Emerald Village and commend our staff for their excellent work,” said M.J Giovanetti, Director.
