Job Description

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Must have at least 1 year’s experience in Basic Accounting and Cash Handling. Requires daily interaction with residents, families, and staff. Excellent customer service skills are essential. Should possess the following skills: Data Entry, Daily cash posting, Management of PNA and QIT accounts for Nursing Home residents and knowledge of ODM/State Regulations for these accounts. Duties include: Setting up acct’s, filing for DD, assisting Residents, completion of Medicaid notices, reports, estate recovery requirements, multiple billing and clerical responsibilities, bank deposits and balancing. Must have reliable transportation.


Minimum requirements: H.S. diploma/GED; computer literacy and adept with MS Word and Excel. Ability to multi-task; healthcare accounting background / experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Knowledge of PCC and RFMS a plus.
