Thank you so much to all those that helped make this year’s 20th Annual Top O` the Towers such a success! This year St. Augustine raised over $150,000 which will go towards all of the affiliated campuses and directly benefit the residents of St. Augustine.
Top O’ the Towers held a very social and lax atmosphere in their traditional Irish party attire format. The name started based on the original location of their benefit, The Towers campus, as well as being held so closely to St. Patrick’s Day. Attendees enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres, and live Irish music from the Portersharks. The committee gathered 135 silent auction items and other items for the Chinese raffle and sideboards.
Every year, Top O’ the Towers features a “Fund the Need” which presents a donation based project to better the lives of the residents. This year’s need was the Hospice Garden for the Holy Family campus. The plans included gardens, statues, water features, and easy access paths. Top O` the Towers raised over $9000 to go towards the project which is expected to begin construction Spring 2017. The garden will offer as a therapeutic alternative from traditional medication. The space will provide stress relief and meditation for residents and patients.
Special thanks to all of our sponsors, donors, committee, volunteers, and to our community. Your generosity has made Top O` the Towers possible and allowed us to continue our mission.
Congratulations to all of our silent and live auction winners!
